"WATER BABIES" (14 min)

When food was in short supply and people were starving, mothers would drown their babies in the lake to prevent them from suffering. However, such an act created a curse trapping the baby's spirits in the water. These spirits grew hungry and restless and would call out to women from the water to lure them to a watery grave.
