Our 2026 Electric Film Series continues with a delightfully chaotic screening of What's Up, Doc?, a fast-paced homage to classic screwball comedies that blends romance, absurdity, and nonstop hilarity. Join us for a screening of What’s Up, Doc?, a wildly entertaining comedy in which a straight-laced musicologist finds his life turned upside down after crossing paths with a free-spirited troublemaker. What follows is a whirlwind of mistaken identities, romantic entanglements, and escalating chaos, all building to a legendary car chase through the streets of San Francisco. With pitch-perfect comedic timing and unforgettable performances, the film captures the spirit of classic Hollywood farce while delivering something entirely its own.

Enhancing the evening will be special guest speaker Bruce Bennett. Mr. Bennett is an accomplished actor and musician but he's also quite the film enthusiast. What's more, he's a lifelong admirer and fan of Babs making him the perfect special guest for this particular screening. Bruce will be on hand to introduce the film and to lead a post-screening discussion, offering insight into its influences, comedic style, and enduring legacy.

Be sure to arrive early and enjoy an optional menu item from Riggatti’s to savor during the post-screening discussion, or take it home with you after the film.
