THE MASTER TOUCH (1972) | 16mm Film Screening

FMASU proudly presents a very special series that will be of particular interest to film enthusiasts. A series that, above all else, sets out to emphatically proclaim that “Film isn’t dead!”

Big Screen 16 will present 16mm film prints on the big screen! In the past, this series has hosted screenings of CHARIOTS OF FIRE, BEETLEJUICE, and more!

On Saturday, June 8th at 7 PM, get your Euro crime thriller on as Big Screen 16 presents a 16mm screening of THE MASTER TOUCH (1972.) This film stars the legendary Kirk Douglas as a professional thief who’s lured back into a life of crime. Among other things, THE MASTER TOUCH features one hell of a car chase and to have the opportunity to experience this underappreciated gem in glorious 16mm will be quite the treat.

This will be a name-your-own-price screening ($1 minimum.)

Money raised will go towards future FMASU events. On a final note, this screening will be extra special as it will serve as a swan song for Big Screen 16 co-founder, Josh Hafen. Mr. Hafen will be heading off to the Big Apple where he’ll actually assist in the preservation of film prints.
