Take a step back into the earliest era of film with Silent Film Night. The lineup will include a short from the 1900s (“Fantasmagorie”) and a short from the 1910s (“Suspense”) but the centerpiece of the evening will be a screening of “The General” from 1926. In “The General,” the legendary Buster Keaton stars as an engineer who, after being turned down for service in the early stages of a war, springs into action in an effort to save the two things most precious to him; His lady fare Annabelle Lee and his prized locomotive. What could possibly go wrong?…
