About the Event

“SCRIPTS GONE WILD” ONE-OFF EVENT HOSTED BY FRANK DIETZ

Part of HorrorFest International’s Opening Night Celebration on Wednesday, October 19th!

For years, L.A. based writer/director/actor/artist Frank Dietz (“I Hate Kids,” Shudder’s “Creepshow” series, “Beast Wishes,” “Long Live the King,” “The Jitters,” “Zombie Nightmare,” “Black Roses, etc.) has been an integral part of Scripts Gone Wild. The goal of this nonprofit is pretty simple; To raise money for various causes by way of its very own brand of high-energy entertainment.

At each Scripts Gone Wild event, Mr. Dietz and his team of performers do a live script read. During that read, if any of the cast members flub a line, they must pay the price. Not literally, of course. It’s all in good fun, and in the end, it all makes for a wonderfully lively time.
