REGISTRATION: 2022 HOLIDAY EDITION OF GUERILLA FILMMAKING CHALLENGE

It's time to leave the heebie-jeebies of a spine-tingling Halloween season behind and celebrate the joyous warm and fuzzies that come with a fastly approaching holiday season.

The Holiday Edition of the Guerilla Filmmaking Challenge is the perfect way to start! This particular edition of the popular Southern Utah-based quick turnaround filmmaking outlet started in 2010. It's open to filmmakers of all ages and all skill sets so whether you've made a movie before or not, we hope you'll jump on board and take part.

The process is pretty simple; Filmmaking teams will be given a topic and a prop. They will then have just over 4 weeks to put together a short film using any resources available to them. All completed Guerilla shorts will be presented on the big screen at our annual "A Merry Movie Christmas" event on December 17th at The Electric Theater. This event is primarily designed to bring awareness to various local causes but it's also a celebration of filmmaking as an art form, so if you're a storyteller, this is definitely for you.

Registration will open on Friday, November 11th at 7 PM (MST) at FMASU.com. There will only be 20 signup slots available so once the registration portal goes live, sign up sooner rather than later.

If you sign up in the first 48 hours, the registration fee is only $20 per film. Once you register and pay the submission fee, you'll receive an email with rules and regulations, and then...You're off to the holiday-inspired races!
