About the Event
THE 2026 NEW YEAR EDITION OF THE GUERILLA SHORTS SHOWCASE
In late January 2026, Utah-based filmmaking teams of all ages and all skill sets were invited to take part in the 2026 New Year Edition of the Guerilla Filmmaking Challenge. These teams were given a month to create short films (6 minutes or less) using any resources available to them. Additionally, these filmmaking teams were required to pick from a list of provided categories and lines of dialogue to build their short films around. In the end, 23 teams signed up. Will they all finish? Attendees will find the answer to that question at our epic March 14th Guerilla Showcase event at the Electric Theater.
At this special showcase event, attendees will have an opportunity to experience these creative short films on the big screen. Additionally, patrons are encouraged to get in on the action and vote for their favorites,…
