Directed by the legendary Stanley Kubrick, this razor sharp Cold War-inspired satire stars Peter Sellers, (who actually plays three roles in the film, including the title character), George C. Scott, and Sterling Hayden in a movie about an unhinged military man who orders a bombing attack on the Soviet Union even though those in the war room question his sanity. It is, quite simply, one of the great movies of all time. In fact, famed movie critic Roger Ebert has stated on multiple occasions that he believes it sits alongside “2001: A Space Odyssey” as Kubrick’s masterpiece.…
