2024 Halloween Edition Guerilla Shorts Showcase

The Halloween Edition of the Guerilla Filmmaking Challenge has been going strong since 2005! Presented by the Film and Media Alliance of Southern Utah, the Challenge is designed for filmmakers of all ages and all skill sets. Filmmaking teams were given the topic “Things That Scare You” alongside other criteria and a limited amount of time to put together 6 minute short films using any resources available to them. We had 30 teams sign up for this particular challenge in under 24 hours. A record-breaker for this Southern Utah-based filmmaking platform.

At this very special Guerilla Showcase event, you’ll get to experience all of these creative short films on the big screen. Our esteemed jury (made up of storytellers with new films playing at the upcoming HorrorFest International Film Festival) will hand out awards to the 3 best films of the bunch. Additionally, there will be cash prizes as well…
