Description: Michael Ballif's creative feature, They Live Inside Us, will make its live film festival debut at HorrorFest International. This fantastically entertaining gem from Witching Season Films and Gravitas Ventures was written by Ballif, James Morris (who also stars in the film), and Caroman Turner. This thrifty and undeniably atmospheric labor of love was shot entirely in the state of Utah and tells the haunting tale of a writer (played by Morris) who hopes to gain inspiration for a new project by way of spending the evening in a notoriously haunted house with his young daughter on Halloween night. What follows is a sinister series of events in which the lines between reality and fantasy are blurred. "They Live Inside Us" isn't just a terrific homage to horror and to the joyful, enduring spirit of the Halloween-season, but it's also a clever ode to the power of storytelling itself.
